(L.A.) James Martin, 21, Died From Overdosing on Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as James Martin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Toxic Effects of Fentanyl, Oxycodone and Alprazolam

RIP JAMES MARTIN (March 19, 2003 – September 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:57 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
