Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 82-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Myung Jong Song.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension

RIP MYUNG JONG SONG (August 14, 1941 – May 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:17 p.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Kelvin Song.
