Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Chen.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JOHN CHEN (April 30, 1949 – September 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:43 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on January 29.
