Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jazzlen Fitzgerald.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Asthma Exacerbation

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertrophic Heart Disease, Steatosis of Liver

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:41 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on November 21.
