(L.A.) Maya Loeb, 25, Died in an Ambulance

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old female that occurred in an ambulance.
The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Maya Loeb and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:34 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
