(L.A.) Sergio Ramirez, 46, Died at an Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at an encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sergio Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Idiopathic Epilepsy, Depression, Dissociative and Conversion Disorder, and Traumatic Subdural Hemorrhage

RIP SERGIO RAMIREZ (August 26, 1978 – August 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
