(L.A.) Cheryl Powers, 66, Died From Polysubtance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cheryl Powers.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Hydrocodone, Alprazolam, Ethanol Toxicity
RIP CHERYL POWERS (May 5, 1958 – July 14, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:49 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
