Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brandon Verret.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP BRANDON VERRET (December 17, 1993 – July 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
