(L.A.) Alana Samuelson, 40, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Alana Samuelson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Alcohol Effects

RIP ALANA SAMUELSON (June 29, 1983 – June 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
