(L.A.) David Ceja, 17, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as David Ceja.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:07 p.m.
The decedent died at the scene of a vehicular accident in which five people were injured, all seriously with two dead. David Ceja was pronounced dead on the scene. His younger brother Hector was taken to the hospital where he expired.

Firefighters responded to a multi-vehicle collision resulting in at least 5 patients, including one fatality. Firefighters extricated two patients, and transported a total of four patients (3 critical & 1 in fair condition) to local hospitals (ages/genders: 18M, 16M, 18F, 30F). The deceased (unknown age/gender) remains inside one of the wrecked vehicles, with LAPD en route for the investigation.
