(L.A.) Lewis Rainer, 65, Died From a Heart Issue

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lewis Rainer.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP LEWIS RAINER (March 1, 1959 – May 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
