(L.A.) Jose Fonseca Morales, 66, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Fonseca.

Manner of Death : Natural

Cause of Death : Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine and Alcohol Intoxication

RIP JOSE FONSECA MORALES (June 20, 1957 – May 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:10 p.m.

At some point in early 2025, the Department of Medical Examiner changed the decedent’s manner of death from natural to an accidental overdose.
