Bodybuilder Jerry Ward Died Unexpectedly at 46
JERRY WARD, a well-known figure in the bodybuilding community, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2022, at the age of 46.
Ward died in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was commentating on the NPC Teen, Collegiate, and Masters Nationals bodybuilding contest.
Final Hours
In the hours leading up to his death, Ward had complained of a pulled left rib, which he believed was caused by carrying heavy luggage. He also used a massage chair, but his condition worsened afterward. Despite his friend’s advice to see a doctor, Ward decided not to seek medical attention and continued with his duties.
Cause of Death
The cause of Ward’s untimely death turned out to be a pulmonary embolism resulting from deep vein thrombosis. This was confirmed by his wife, Erin Merritt, after she received information from the medical examiner’s office.
Ward began his bodybuilding career in 1994, earning his personal training certificate. He went on to work as a fitness model and compete in bodybuilding competitions.
We do not know if he had been injected with synthetic mRNA.
