(L.A.) Hector Rodriguez, 81, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 81-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hector Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation, and Chronic Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
