(L.A.) Miguel Zarazua Pichardo, 45, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Miguel Zarazua Pichardo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Use

RIP MIGUEL ZARAZUA PICHARDO (August 11, 1978 – March 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:12 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.
