(L.A.) Levi Edmonison, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Levi Edmonison.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Cause of Death B: Acute Myocardial Infarction

Cause of Death C: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP LEVI EDMONISON (May 8, 1957 – January 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:36 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
