The coroner’s office has identified the man as Buford Johnson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:56 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
