(L.A.) Ruben Perez Jr., 52, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ruben Perez Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP RUBEN PEREZ JR. (November 22, 1970 – November 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:26 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
