(L.A.) Esteban Jaramillo, 34, Died on the 10 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred on the 10 Freeway.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Esteban Jaramillo.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:10 a.m.
The decedent was fatally injured by a suspected drunken driver who triggered a wrong-way crash on the outskirts of downtown Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Honda sedan Jaramillo was driving east on the 10 Freeway was hit by a Kia being driven the wrong way on the freeway.
The driver and two passengers in the Kia, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured. The child suffered minor injuries, while a 22-year-old woman and the 25-year-old male driver both suffered minor to moderate injuries. All three were taken to a hospital.
Brandon Alexander Bencomo, the driver of the Kia, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and murder.
