(L.A.) Eileen Rivera Arthur, 64, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Eileen Rivera Arthur.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP EILEEN RIVERA ARTHUR (March 16, 1959 – October 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:38 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
