(L.A.) John Alvarado, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Alvarado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Heroin, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Methamphetamine Effects; Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:58 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
