Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Gloria Cervantes.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease
Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Depression

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:25 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed its CoD ruling on June 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
The decedent had a medical history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and depression. She had a prior suicide attempt. Her prescription medications included desmopressin acetate 0.1 mg / desmopressin acetate 0.2 mg, citalopram 20 mg, and myrbetriq 25 mg. She was also taking Oyster Shell Calcium-Vit D 500-200.
Desmopressin acetate tablets are indicated for the management of primary nocturnal enuresis.
Myrbetriq is a prescription medication for overactive bladder.
Citalopram, sold under the brand name Celexa among others, is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. It is used to treat major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and social phobia.
