Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hotel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Rios.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine

RIP ROBERT RIOS (May 25, 1986 – August 2, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:54 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
