(L.A.) Zahid Siddiqi, 41, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Zahid Siddiqi and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Acetaminophen Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: History of Depression

Also known as paracetamol, acetaminophen is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic agent used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain. It is a widely available over-the-counter drug sold under various brand names, including Tylenol and Panadol.
