(L.A.) Yuan-Yi Yeh, 31, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Yuan-Yi Yeh.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Methorphan Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The decedent’s name appears to be Chinese, possibly Taiwanese.
