Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old Asian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Yong Hiu Pierce.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Intracranial Hemorrhage, Clinical

Cause of Death B: Possible Ruptured Cerebral Aneurysm, Clinical

Other Significant Condition: History of Hypertension and Diabetes

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s date of death as December 2.
