Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 79-year-old Asian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ying Xu.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Perforated Left Ventricle

Cause of Death B: Ventricular Assist Device Placement

Cause of Death C: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease
