(L.A.) Winston Forney, 75, Died in a Stairwell

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Black male that occurred in a stairwell.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Winston Forney.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP WINSTON FORNEY (April 19, 1948 – October 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:26 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
