(L.A.) Willians Lemus Ayala, 12, Died from a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 12-year-old Latino male that occurred by the side of a road in Santa Clarita.
The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Willians Lemus Ayala of Canyon Country.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:40 a.m.
The decedent was found lifeless on the side of the road at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Placerita Canyon Road. Investigators have yet to determine whether he was shot dead there or was brought there after being shot somewhere else.
