(L.A.) William Murphy, 64, Died at a Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Murphy.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:48 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
