The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Garcia.

A dead body was discovered on a Metro subway train Tuesday night prompting a response and investigation by authorities.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department and Los Angeles police officers along with Metro transit personnel responded to reports of a deceased body around 10:30 p.m., May 9, on the Metro train at Hollywood and Vine (Red) Station on 6250 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood.
