(L.A.) William Bacon Jr., 50, Died at an Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Bacon Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Cellulitis of Lower Extremities

RIP WILLIAM BACON JR. (May 3, 1974 – August 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
