Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Arriola Campos.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Respiratory Failure

Cause of Death B: Upper Respiratory Tract Viral Infection

Other Significant Condition: Morbid Obesity

RIP WILLIAM ARRIOLA CAMPOS (October 17, 1995 – January 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:42 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 12.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as William Campos-Areola.
