(L.A.) Wanda Crocker, 87, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 87-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Wanda Crocker.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Flurazepam and Amitriptyline Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:13 a.m.

Amitriptyline, sold under the brand name Elavil among others, is a tricyclic antidepressant primarily used to treat major depressive disorder, a variety of pain syndromes such as neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, migraine and tension headaches.
