(L.A.) Walter Torres Colindres, 54, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Walter Torres Colindres.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
