Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Walter Ponce.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP WALTER PONCE (July 17, 1982 – July 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
