The coroner’s office has identified the child as Viani Ballen.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Blunt Abdominal Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:19 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 10.
