Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vernon Pierce.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Cause of Death B: Ground Level Fall

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, Coronary Artery Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease
