(L.A.) Vazrik Yadegarian, 68, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old “Latin American” male that occurred in a tent.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vazrik Yadegarian.

The decedent’s name is clearly Armenian and not Hispanic. Possible spelling variations: Vahick Yedgarian, Vahic Yedgarian, Vahik Yedgarian, Vahick Yedgaryan
He was a homeless person who was seen wearing a jersey with Cyrillic letters on it. Because his large beard covered most his face and he accessed services that cater primarily to Spanish speakers, he could have been mistaken for Hispanic by social workers.
