Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Vanessa Goodall Jones.

Cause of Death: Methadone Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
