(L.A.) Vahe Abolian, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old “Caucasian” male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Vahe Abolian.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:29 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early July after tox results had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent’s name appears to be Armenian. Government authorities such as LASD listed his birthday as October 3. He was arrested on January 5, 2023, bonded out by January 29 and was scheduled for a court appearance on February 3. He had arrests in previous years for possession and use of controlled substances.
