(L.A.) Tylor Miller, 46, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tylor Miller.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine, Mitragynine, and Mirtazapine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:08 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Mitragynine is an indole-based alkaloid and the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.

Mirtazapine, sold under the brand name Remeron among others, is an atypical tetracyclic antidepressant.

Fluoxetine, sold under the brand name Prozac, among others, is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class.
