(L.A.) Tigran Tamarazyan, 40, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tigran Tamarazyan and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death : Natural

Cause of Death : Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Cause of Death: Combined Toxic Effects of Fentanyl and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:45 p.m.

On February 5, the Department of Medical Examiner changed their initial determination that this was a natural death. This is now classified as an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.

The decedent’s name appears to be Armenian.
