(L.A.) Thurrell Russ, 69, Died in a Nursing Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred at a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thurrell Russ.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Anoxic Encephalopathy

Cause of Death B: Cerebroavascular Stroke

Cause of Death C: Sequelae of Blunt Head Trauma

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Epilepsy, Atrial Fibrillation, Dysphagia
