Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Taniesha Brandon.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Aortic Dissection

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Morbid Obesity

RIP TANIESHA BRANDON (June 15, 1973 – December 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
