Streptococcus agalactiae

Also known as group B streptococcus or GBS.

Streptococcus agalactiae is a type of bacteria commonly carried in the human gut or vagina.

In approximately 170,000 death records in Los Angeles County from the year 2001, there have been at least seven mentions of Streptococcus agalactiae.
