Report: Iranian military mistook a Boeing 727 for an incoming American missile. The takeoff was approximately two hours after Iran’s missile attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq.

Plane exploded a few minutes after taking off from Imam Khomeini International Airport. It was Ukraine International Airline (UIA) flight number PS752 headed for Boryspil International Airport, by the capital Kiev.

There are no survivors.

The flight took off at 5:15 am local time.
