Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sylvia Valencia.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Ethanol Use, History of Metastatic Breast Carcinoma

RIP SYLVIA VALENCIA (August 17, 1973 – January 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 28.
