(L.A.) Susan Hammond, 31, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Susan Hammond.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Diabetic Ketoacidosis

Cause of Death B: Diabetes Mellitus Type I

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP SUSAN HAMMOND (November 25, 1992 – December 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
