(L.A.) Steven Gallegos, 48, Died in Prison

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred in prison.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steven Gallegos.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects
Other Significant Condition: Coronary Artery Disease
RIP STEVEN GALLEGOS (April 1, 1976 – August 31, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:36 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
